Alberi di Vita OdV is a volunteer-run nonprofit association founded in October 2016 in Mompiano, a district in northern Brescia, Italy. Inspired by Pope Francis’s appeal for peace and solidarity, it works to improve community life, with particular attention to older people and families. The association provides welcoming spaces for social connection through its Centro Aperto, where people can meet and share activities.
Its programmes include home visits, social support and listening services, counselling, psychological support, transport, assistance with mobility aids, and neighbourhood initiatives. It also offers gentle exercise, memory workshops, prevention meetings, recreational activities for seniors, and animation in residential care homes. Projects such as Alberi per le Famiglie, Nonno in affido, and Gli Amici di Hebron reflect its wider community and outreach work.
Based in Mompiano, Alberi di Vita invites people to participate as members or volunteers and welcomes donations to support its activities. The association also shares event updates and information about its projects through its website and social media
