AARCS, the Alberta Animal Rescue Crew Society, is a compassionate and dedicated grassroots animal welfare organization based in Alberta. Committed to making a positive impact on the lives of homeless animals, AARCS provides a range of services and programs to communities across the province. With the help of hard-working staff, volunteers, foster homes, and supporters, their goal is to address the root causes of animal overpopulation and homelessness.

AARCS offers various programs and services, including rescue, rehabilitation, and rehoming of animals in need. They also provide community support programs such as a Pet Food Bank, Spay/Neuter assistance, TNR (Trap-Neuter-Return), and Animal Disaster Response. AARCS operates an in-house veterinary hospital and two facilities in Calgary and Edmonton, offering medical care and temporary housing for animals.

With a vast network of foster homes, they can care for an average of 500 animals throughout the year. By advocating for ethical practices, collaboration, learning, and compassion, AARCS strives to create a compassionate world for all animals. They rely on the support of over 2,000 volunteers and foster parents who contribute their time and resources to make a difference.

AARCS is a leader in the animal welfare community, providing invaluable assistance and saving the lives of over 4,000 animals each year
