Alberta Printmakers (A/P) is a Calgary-based community resource dedicated to helping people learn about, create, and celebrate printmaking as a vital art form. It brings together printmakers, enthusiasts, and newcomers through exhibitions, studio access, workshops, events, and opportunities for artistic growth. The A/P Main Gallery is free and open to the public, presenting contemporary printmaking across a range of techniques, concepts, perspectives, and approaches.

Its fully equipped studio serves both experienced and emerging artists, with facilities for creating work in letterpress, relief, etching, lithography, and other processes. Hands-on workshops welcome participants at all experience levels, offering ways to develop and refine printmaking skills. A/P also supports artists through exhibitions, collaborations, special projects, and calls for participation.

Public programming includes artist talks, exhibition receptions, and practical printmaking events. Membership is open to people anywhere in the world, and volunteers can take part in the organization’s community activities.
