Alcedo River Clinic is a river-focused consultancy founded by water-management engineer and river hydraulics specialist Martin Mišík. Drawing on technical expertise and practical experience across European projects, the company supports the sustainable use, protection and restoration of rivers and streams, aiming to benefit both ecosystems and the people who live and work alongside them.

Its services include studies and proposals for river revitalisation, nature-based river design and ecosystem restoration, as well as nature-friendly, multi-purpose flood protection. The team provides mathematical modelling and hydrotechnical calculations to assess water flow, sediment transport, river morphology and habitats. It also advises on climate-resilient solutions related to floods, navigation, hydropower and recreation, and offers training, lectures and field visits on ecological water management.
