Alchemy Pelvic Health is a women’s health physical therapy practice serving Chester, New Jersey, and surrounding areas. Founded by Dr. Alyssa Banks, PT, DPT, the practice supports women through every stage of their pelvic health journey, from fertility, pregnancy, and postpartum recovery to perimenopause and menopause. Care is available at the Chester clinic, in clients’ homes, and virtually.

Alchemy offers individualized physical therapy for pelvic pain, bowel and bladder dysfunction, core weakness, diastasis recti, sexual wellness, and preparation for or rehabilitation after surgery. Treatment combines hands-on techniques, corrective movement, and Pilates-based exercise, with internal pelvic floor assessment offered when appropriate and with each client’s consent. The practice takes a holistic, root-cause approach, considering how the pelvis relates to breathing, posture, personal history, and overall wellbeing. Sessions are private, unhurried, and tailored to each person’s needs and pace. No referral is required. Alchemy also hosts monthly, donation-based Mama Medicine Circles, providing a welcoming community space for mothers to connect and share.
