Alus darītavas "Aldaris" pirmsākumi meklējami 1865. gadā, kad pēc Bavārijas vācieša Joahima Daudera ieceres Rīgas nomalē tika uzcelta alus darītava Waldschlösschen jeb Meža pils. Aldaris ir viena no retajām alus darītavām Latvijā, kas atrodas savā vēsturiskajā vietā un arī alus brūvēšanas tradīcijas ir saglabājusi līdz pat mūsdienām. 20. gs. sākumā Waldschlösschen bija iemantojusi Eiropā modernākās alus darītavas slavu, par ko liecināja 1906. gadā Rīgā organizētais Eiropas lielāko alus darītāju kongress. Aldara nosaukumu tā ieguva publiskā aptaujā 1937. gadā, kurā piedalījās 3339 cilvēki.

About Aldaris
Aldaris is a renowned Latvian beer brand with a rich history dating back to 1865. It is one of the few breweries in Latvia that has preserved its historical location and brewing traditions to this day. In the early 20th century, the Waldschlösschen brewery, as it was known then, gained fame as one of the most modern breweries in Europe, evident by the European Brewers Congress held in Riga in 1906.
In 1937, the brewery acquired its current name through a public poll featuring 3,339 participants. Today, Aldaris is part of the Carlsberg Group, one of the world's largest beer producers. Located in Riga, the brewery employs around 200 people and offers a diverse range of more than 40 beverages, including beer, cider, water, alcoholic and non-alcoholic cocktails.
With continuous innovation and a dedication to consumer preferences, Aldaris continues to develop new products and experiment with brewing techniques, using the latest technologies to create exclusive beer varieties
