Aldeas Infantiles SOS República Dominicana is a non-governmental organization dedicated to the rights of children to live within a family. Our mission is to prevent the loss of family care by strengthening families and providing alternative care through our residential family-based programs in Los Mina, Santiago, and Los Jardines del Norte. At Aldeas Infantiles SOS, we adhere to the Guidelines for Alternative Care, which are appropriate guidelines for policy and practice to promote the implementation of the Convention on the Rights of the Child.

We work towards ensuring the survival, health, and holistic development of children through public policies aimed at guaranteeing their rights, including the right to life, name, and nationality.
