Alectric Renewables

Alectric Renewables is a commercial solar developer and installer founded by Alan Morrissey in 2015. Based in Southern Ontario, the company designs, builds, and supports grid-connected solar photovoltaic systems for businesses, including industrial, manufacturing, agricultural, and corporate properties. Its services include turnkey solar net metering projects in Ontario, site evaluations, system design and engineering, permitting, installation, commissioning, and long-term system monitoring and support.

Alectric Renewables also develops utility-scale solar projects and offers solar energy through Power Purchase Agreements for select owners of large commercial real estate portfolios. Its PPA model enables clients to purchase generated electricity at a competitive fixed rate without paying the full upfront cost of a solar installation. The company reports more than 150 MW of solar PV installed and 2.5 GW under development, with experience in over 200 commercial installations. It emphasizes project visibility, safety, system performance, and long-term client partnerships, and provides a five-year workmanship warranty.
