ALEEYA. design studio (“A.”) is a Karachi-based design practice for Architecture founded by Aleeya Khan, a Columbia University trained Architect aiming to transform her nation via minimal, modern and sustainable design. A.’s projects are driven by an ambition to change the urban real estate landscape in Karachi, a metropolis of 22 million residents and the economic heart of Pakistan, where access to modern, purpose-built and innovative infrastructure remains an institutional void and an impediment to growth. For ALEEYA. design studio, the marriage between aesthetics and functionality dictates how to solve design problems — inventing timeless and innovative solutions that adapt to their lifelong purpose and environment. A. specializes in high-end residential, commercial boutique offices, and interior renovations with a minimal and a bespoke approach for clients. Since its founding in 2020, A. has designed and completed over 50,000 square feet of high-end residential space and is currently constructing over 100,000 square feet of commercial space. A. is privileged to have worked with some of the country’s leading businesses on strategic projects that have left a mark in the country’s private sector including the corporate HQ’s for Pakistan’s leading Bank, a transformational technology enabled co-working concept and an ultra high-end corporate office for a leading multi-national. In 2023, A. launched A* alittlemore studio, a furniture and objects company – developing a product suite with a fresh perspective on lifestyle. A.’s US, European trained team aims to open its presence across the Middle East, launching its second office soon.
