Aleijo

Aleijo, also known as Elevage de Roumard, is a professional sport-horse breeding and sales operation based in Vendée, France. The business focuses on producing and developing horses selected for quality and performance, with particular emphasis on Selle Français horses bred for show jumping. Its offerings include foals, young horses up to four years old, competition mares and other sport horses for sale.

The breeding programme combines maternal bloodlines from the local and regional area with stallions from European studbooks; named sires include Calvaro, Mister Blue, Orlando, Argentinus and Verdi N. Aleijo also develops the horses in its care and shares their competition results so prospective buyers can assess their records. Some current listings note that veterinary examinations have been completed, with imaging of the feet and joints.

Buyers are invited to visit the breeding farm, discuss their intended use—whether leisure, jumping or competition—and receive guidance toward a suitable horse in line with their expectations and budget
