Alemania Forst

SV Alemania Forst e. V. is a community sports club based in Forst, Germany, with roots dating back to its founding as SG Fortschritt Forst in 1953. Renamed in 1992, the club had around 120 members in 2022 and has since served the city as a recreational sports organization. Its activities bring together participants of different ages, with beginners able to learn alongside more experienced athletes.

The club offers a broad range of disciplines. Its largest group focuses on traditional Shotokan karate and also provides Qi Gong and fitness training. Members can additionally take part in Taekwondo, applied self-defense and traditional Iaido. Kegeln, a long-standing club activity practiced across generations, is another key offering. Training locations include the SV Lausitz sports hall and the adult education center in Forst, while bowling practice takes place at the alley in Groß Kölzig.
