Welcome to Alert Sarasota County, the mass notification system for rapid emergency updates in Sarasota County and its jurisdictions. Our service ensures that you receive alerts via phone, text, and/or email, depending on your preference. We make every effort to contact you through your provided contact information, including landline, cellphone, text message, email, or mobile app push notification. You have full control over your alert subscriptions and can manage them at any time by logging into your account on our website.

To register, simply click on the "Sign Up" button above and select your area of interest from the dropdown menu. If you're unsure which area you should sign up for, our Jurisdiction Map can help you find the right one by searching your address. Currently, Alert Sarasota County covers several jurisdictions, including the unincorporated Sarasota County, City of Sarasota, City of North Port, City of Venice, and Town of Longboat Key.

To ensure that you receive alerts from your home area, we recommend registering an account with the jurisdiction of your home address. However, by using our mobile app, you will receive alerts from other areas based on your location.

Your security is our top priority. Rest assured that any data you enter into the Alert Sarasota County system is solely used for sending alerts and will never be sold. For more information about our data security policies, please visit the Community Engagement page under the Resources tab on our website.

Don't forget to download our free Everbridge mobile app, which allows you to access all public notifications issued through our system. Watch our YouTube video for a step-by-step guide on installing and setting up the app.
