Alès Ergo

Alès-Ergo is an occupational therapy practice based at the Pôle Santé et Bien-Être in Saint-Privat-des-Vieux, serving Alès agglomeration and the Cévennes areas of Gard and Lozère. Its state-qualified occupational therapists support children, adolescents, adults and older people experiencing disability, developmental differences, illness, brain injury or reduced independence. Services include assessments using standardized tests and observation to understand a person’s abilities, daily activities and environment. The team provides guidance and recommendations for assistive equipment and adaptations, with the aim of supporting autonomy, participation and safety in everyday life.

The practice addresses needs ranging from motor development and feeding difficulties to neurodevelopmental conditions, cerebral palsy, degenerative disorders and age-related loss of independence. Interventions may be individual or group-based and take place at the clinic, at home, in schools, businesses and other institutions. Alès-Ergo also provides prevention and advice, considering activities across daily living, education, work and leisure. The practice is led by Estelle Brasseur and Annouk Delot and serves communities throughout the surrounding region.
