Frazer Hare Funeral Directors

Alex McCleary Funeral Directors is an independent, family-run funeral director serving Newton Stewart and the surrounding community since 1950. The business is committed to providing professional, caring and dignified support to people arranging a funeral, with close attention to families’ needs at a difficult time. As the area’s only fully qualified independent family funeral directors, the team helps guide clients through arrangements and related practical matters, including registering a death and understanding funeral costs.

Its services include funeral arrangements, funeral notices, memorials and wedding cars through St Andrews COR. The business also supports advance planning, offering pre-paid funeral plans and guidance on recording funeral wishes. It works with Golden Charter to discuss flexible funeral plan options tailored to individual requirements. Alex McCleary Funeral Directors is based at 73 Queen Street, Newton Stewart, and can be contacted at any time, day or night, to discuss arrangements. The business trades as Alex McCleary Funeral Directors through Frazer Hare Ltd, an appointed representative of Golden Charter Limited for funeral plans.
