Mina Al-Faw, or the Grand Faw Port, is a vital strategic project aimed at transforming Iraq into a leading global trade hub, contributing significantly to the economy and maritime transport. Located on the shores of the Arabian Gulf, the port is designed to connect Asia and Europe, facilitating efficient trade across continents. With a total capacity of 25 million containers annually and the ability to handle 55 million tons of bulk goods, the port is equipped with advanced infrastructure that meets international standards.

Key components of the project include five new berths, a container terminal capable of processing 3. 5 million containers per year, an innovative submerged tunnel, and a 23-kilometer navigational canal. The project is supported by a collaboration between Daewoo Engineering and Technital, ensuring high-quality execution.
