About The Algebra Project
The Algebra Project is a brand dedicated to transforming math education and ensuring math literacy for all children in the United States. They believe that every child has a civil right to secure math literacy, the ability to read, write, and reason with the symbol systems of mathematics. By using mathematics literacy as an organizing tool, The Algebra Project works to guarantee quality public school education.
Founded by Bob Moses, The Algebra Project is inspired by his mission to bring social change and empowerment to marginalized communities. The brand aims to mount insurgencies to ensure that students at the bottom receive the literacies they need. With a dedicated team led by Executive Director Ben Moynihan and Director of Finance & Accounting Edwige Kenmegne, The Algebra Project is committed to its mission.
You can connect with The Algebra Project team through email or phone. Donations to support their math literacy work are also welcomed and are tax-deductible. Join The Algebra Project in their efforts to make math education accessible and equitable for all children
