Al-Ghadir encyclopedia

Al-Ghadir Encyclopedia is a digital Islamic reference devoted to the event of Ghadir and the associated hadith in Islamic texts, historical sources, and literature. Based on the work of the scholar Sheikh Abdul Hussein Amini, the encyclopedia brings together narrations, historical evidence, and poetry relating to the subject from sources across the Muslim tradition. Amini’s original research and documentation, which the site describes as the result of more than forty years of study, form the foundation of the collection.

The website makes the encyclopedia available across eleven volumes, with options to browse individual volumes and search its contents. It also provides topic-based exploration of subjects such as the event of Ghadir, the hadith of Ghadir, its narrators among the Companions and Successors, poets who wrote about Ghadir, and scholarly classifications of narrators. Additional reference material includes a glossary, biographical information, and links to a digital Islamic encyclopedia. Designed for readers exploring Islamic scholarship and source material, Al-Ghadir offers an organized way to consult the work and its related topics.
