Al Ghazal Golf Club & Sports Resort

Al Ghazal Golf Club is a welcoming sports and leisure destination in Abu Dhabi, known for its distinctive sand-golf experience. Opened in 1997, its 18-hole course measures 6,711 yards from the white tees and has a par of 71. The front nine are set around an archaeological site on a former coastline, while the back nine offer an additional challenge, including water hazards on the 11th and 17th holes. As a sustainable course, it uses artificial grass mats on the fairways and compacted, treated sand for its putting surfaces, called browns.

The club welcomes golfers of different abilities and offers memberships, green fees, golf lessons through its academy, equipment rental, and repair and fitting services. Members and non-members can also use a range of sports facilities, including a driving range, golf simulation room, basketball court, football pitch, tennis courts, and cricket and baseball facilities. A pro shop stocks golf apparel and equipment from leading brands. Dining options include Korean and Brazilian cuisine, alongside a sports bar.
