Our philosophy centers around mindful production and preserving the environment. We use upcycled denim for all our blue colors and tones in collaboration with The New Denim Project. Additionally, we have revived native cotton varieties like lxcaco, Cuyuscate, and Jade cotton, which were on the verge of extinction.

Each of our objects carries intention and purpose, reflecting our dedication to preserving and celebrating our culture. Since our establishment in 1994, we have remained true to our vision of sharing the magic of handwoven textiles. Now known as Wayil, meaning Native in an indigenous language, we continue to weave contemporary designs using native raw materials.
