About Algonquin Students' Association
The Algonquin Commons Theatre, operated by the Algonquin Students' Association, is a premier venue on the Algonquin College Ottawa campus. Since its opening in 2012, the theatre has hosted a variety of events including live music, comedy shows, guest speakers, dance performances, and theatre productions. Some notable past events include performances by July Talk, Lights, Machine Gun Kelly, and even Gordon Lightfoot.
The theatre, which can seat up to 700 guests and is 100% wheelchair accessible, offers a diverse range of cultural events that reflect the vibrancy of Ottawa. In addition to hosting events, the Algonquin Commons Theatre is also available for rentals.
