AlgoWiki is an open encyclopedia dedicated to the properties and implementations of algorithms across various software and hardware platforms, ranging from mobile devices to exaflop supercomputers. Its mission is to provide comprehensive descriptions of algorithms to help assess their potential on specific parallel computing platforms. AlgoWiki features extensive information beyond traditional algorithm characteristics, including parallel complexity, parallel structure, data locality assessments, efficiency, scalability, and communication profiles of specific implementations.

The platform's main section, Algorithm Classification, includes detailed descriptions of all listed algorithms, with new entries added as necessary to expand its classifications. Each entry offers insights into the algorithm's historical background, potential applications, and mathematical descriptions. Notably, the Cholesky Decomposition method is highlighted, illustrating both its traditional and block versions. AlgoWiki is a collaborative initiative welcoming contributions from the global computing community, fostering shared knowledge and advancements in algorithmic research.
