Alidouglas

AliDouglas Research Network is a social science research network that connects researchers and Southern African institutions to create and share knowledge for social transformation. With more than a decade of experience, it works across 23 African countries and brings together 43 researchers to advance evidence-based development solutions. Its work focuses on three areas: green development, support for vulnerable groups, and poverty alleviation.

Green development initiatives address climate change management, climate finance, enviropreneurship, and environmental governance. Programs supporting vulnerable groups focus on gender equality, youth empowerment, child welfare, and the inclusion of persons with disabilities and minorities. Poverty alleviation work includes agriculture and food security, livelihoods development, and sustainable entrepreneurship.

The network reports more than 50 completed projects and collaborates with governments, NGOs, and international organizations. Its partners include the Climate Technology Centre and Network, the African Capacity Building Foundation, and World Vision Zimbabwe. AliDouglas invites researchers, organizations, and other changemakers to join its network, collaborate on projects, and contribute to sustainable development and social change across Africa
