About Banco de Alimentos PR
Banco de Alimentos PR is a non-profit organization founded with the aim of alleviating hunger, improving nutrition, and enhancing the quality of life for the most vulnerable citizens in Puerto Rico. For 34 years, we have been dedicated to the mission of Que nadie se quede sin comer (No one should go without eating), serving men, women, and children facing food insecurity throughout the island. We believe that everyone should have access to the essential resources they need to reach their full potential, and we work towards equitable access to healthy food and opportunities for all.
With a network of 130 member organizations, we have expanded our coverage to all 78 municipalities in Puerto Rico. Thanks to the generosity of our donors and partners, we are able to combat hunger and provide food assistance across the entire country.
