Alive OT

Alive OT is a community-based occupational therapy business serving the Perth metropolitan area of Western Australia. Led by Jen, an occupational therapist specialising in disability services since 2009, the practice works with adults in their homes, workplaces and local communities. Its personalised services are designed to help people build independence and work towards goals that matter to them.

Alive OT provides assessments of physical, cognitive and sensory needs, abilities and everyday functioning, including NDIS Functional Capacity Assessments and assessments supporting SIL and SDA funding. The team also develops individualised treatment plans and provides intervention to build practical skills, such as meal preparation, budgeting, daily routines, transport and preparation for volunteering or paid employment.

Additional services include assessment and advice for assistive technology, from low-cost items to wheelchairs and seating, as well as consultation on minor home modifications. These may include grab rails, threshold ramps and handheld showers to improve safety, accessibility and independence.
