Állatsegítő

The Miskolci Állatsegítő Alapítvány, established 24 years ago, is one of the largest animal shelters in Eastern Hungary, dedicated to rescuing and rehabilitating animals in need. Located in Miskolc, the foundation cares for over 800 animals annually, including more than 600 dogs and 200 cats. Their mission is to offer a safe haven for injured, abandoned, and neglected animals, prioritizing their healing and long-term adoption.

With a record of successfully placing nearly 20,000 animals into loving homes, the organization operates without a cap on intake, ensuring that every animal receives the necessary care. The Miskolci Állatsegítő Alapítvány not only runs an animal rescue service but also emphasizes the importance of spaying and neutering through educational programs. It continues to engage the community through virtual adoptions, donations, and outreach initiatives.

Open every day, the foundation is a critical resource in Miskolc and the surrounding areas, participating in over 200 rescues each year
