Allegro Bakery & Sandwich Shop is a 100% plant-based bakery and café located on Murray Avenue in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Reopened in December 2020, the business makes its breads and pastries from scratch using traditional techniques, with bakers shaping loaves and pastries by hand. Its breads are made with organic flour and the bakery’s own sourdough starter. Other ingredients are free from artificial preservatives, colors, and flavors.

The menu features sourdough and other breads, sandwiches, salads, cookies, cakes, pies, croissants, and cinnamon rolls. Sandwiches and salads are available Tuesday through Sunday, alongside baked goods. Allegro also offers gift cards and advance ordering for pickup. Allegro’s hours are Tuesday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., Saturday from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., and Sunday from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. The bakery is closed Mondays.
