About AllergyCertified
AllergyCertified is an international allergy label that was founded to address the need for a universal certification that consumers around the world can rely on to minimize the risk of skin allergies. Going beyond just testing for allergens, AllergyCertified assesses all impurities, carcinogens, and endocrine disrupting chemicals in products. Skin allergies, also known as contact dermatitis, are common chronic diseases that can result from exposure to various ingredients in everyday products such as cosmetics, skincare items, shampoos, detergents, glasses, clothes, and toys.
When you see a product with the AllergyCertified label, it means that every substance in the product has been reviewed and evaluated to ensure the lowest possible risk of allergies. The concentration of the substance, exposure, and degree of purity are key factors in the risk assessment. AllergyCertified acknowledges that in rare cases, individuals may still react to a chemical, even if it's not normally considered allergenic.
In such instances, they encourage reporting the reaction to provide support and assistance. The AllergyCertified logo is consumer-friendly and easy to identify
