Allergy Testing

Allergy Testing Sydney is a Sydney-based allergy clinic focused on identifying and treating the underlying causes of allergic symptoms. The practice has operated since 1970 and describes itself as Medicare accredited, with more than 50 years of experience. Led by Dr Richard Baker, a University of New South Wales medical graduate who trained in the United States with allergy specialists, the clinic offers assessment for adults and children, and appointments do not require a GP referral.

Its services include skin prick, patch, blood and serial titration testing, with testing available for more than 100 food and inhalant allergens. Following assessment and clinical history, the team develops an individualised treatment plan. Treatment options include allergen immunotherapy injections and sublingual immunotherapy, as well as ongoing allergy management and physician consultations supported by trained allergy nurses.

The clinic addresses a broad range of concerns, including respiratory allergies such as asthma and hay fever; skin conditions such as eczema and hives; food and gastrointestinal symptoms; allergic reactions; and throat, ear and allergy-related headaches.
