Allevamento di Cambiano is an Italian dog-breeding kennel founded by Maria Teresa Garabelli, who received the Cambiano kennel name from ENCI in 1952. Based in Casciana Terme, in the province of Pisa, the kennel specializes in Rough Collies, also known as Long-Haired Scottish Shepherds. It has also bred Border Collies, alongside several other breeds over the years. Its work is guided by a long-standing passion for dogs and a commitment to preserving breed character rather than following passing trends.
The kennel aims to raise dogs that are typical of their breed, balanced, healthy, and free from hereditary defects. Puppies are bred and offered for sale, with careful attention to their development and the future of the breed. Cambiano’s dogs have earned numerous Italian and international titles, including world championship honors, and the kennel reports recognition from ENCI and the Italian Collie Society. Garabelli is an official ENCI judge, though she now focuses exclusively on breeding.
