Allgunnens FVOF is the fisheries management association for Lake Allgunnen, a 1,310-hectare lake in eastern Småland, southern Högsby Municipality, bordering Nybro Municipality. The lake, part of the Alsterån catchment, is known for its scenic surroundings, outdoor recreation and varied fishing. Its 122 islands offer places to stop along the shore, while good water quality supports species including perch, pike, zander, bream, roach, vendace and signal crayfish.
The association helps visitors enjoy the lake responsibly by providing information about fishing permits, prices and regulations, as well as catch reporting and fish-handling guidance. Visitors can also find details about boat ramps, boat rental, a motorhome stop, crayfish fishing, maps and lake-depth charts. Fishing is available from boats and along the shores with a valid permit; visitors are asked to respect private docks, shorelines and fishing gear.
Allgunnen also supports rich birdlife, including nesting great northern divers and ospreys, and serves as a resting place for migratory birds. The association shares updates and promotes conservation of the lake’s wildlife and natural environment.
