Club Excursionista Alliberadrenalina is a Tarragona-based outdoor and sports club founded in 2012 by trail runners and a group behind a mountain-outings blog. It has grown to around 400 members and offers regular training and activities for people with a range of interests and experience levels. Active sections include hiking, mountaineering, Nordic walking, trail running, road running, aquatic walking and triathlon, alongside mountain biking and beginner running activities. The club also organizes weekend outings, prepares participants for races, and provides training in outdoor skills such as navigation and mountain safety.
Community events are central to Alliberadrenalina’s work. Its calendar includes the Marxa Contra el Càncer, the Trote dels Innocents, the Cursa del Seguici, the Marxa de l’Aigua de Sant Magí, the Marxa dels Roures and the Imperial Tarraco Trail. The club also collaborates with Tarragona’s municipal sports body and the Universitat Rovira i Virgili on walks and other events. Members can access a dedicated club area and app, while prospective participants can explore its sections, event calendar, news and volunteer opportunities.
