Allied Animal Hospital has been providing support for pets and their owners in Richmond, VA for over half a century. Our experienced team of veterinarians offers a wide range of services, including medical, dental, and surgical care for ailing or injured pets. We also specialize in preventative and wellness medicine, pet weight loss programs, and geriatric care to ensure that your pets stay healthy.

We accept Trupanion medical pet insurance, which can cover up to 90% of your veterinary care costs. Our boarding facility provides a safe and comfortable environment for your pets when you're out of town. Additionally, we offer grooming services, pet daycare, and can provide referrals for training and behavioral counseling.

As advocates of responsible pet ownership, we support various community activities that promote animal welfare. Our veterinarians, led by Dr. April Dufour, are committed to staying up-to-date with the latest developments in veterinary care through continuing education.
