About All Ireland Polo Club
The All Ireland Polo Club, established in 1873 by Mr. Horace Rochford, holds the distinction of being the oldest polo club in Europe. Located in the heart of Dublin's Phoenix Park, the club boasts a rich history and tradition of the sport that has spanned decades.
Today, the club is just one part of a vibrant polo community in Ireland, with numerous clubs spread across the country from Tyrone to Waterford to Limerick. The Federation of Irish Polo oversees the sport in Ireland, ensuring that all clubs adhere to the standards set by the Hurlingham Polo Association. With a membership of 120 Irish polo players and 18 tournaments held annually, the All Ireland Polo Club continues to be a hub for enthusiasts of this exhilarating sport.
