The AllTrials Campaign is a global initiative hosted by Sense about Science that works to make clinical research more transparent. Founded in 2013 by Ben Goldacre, the BMJ, the Centre for Evidence-based Medicine, the Cochrane Collaboration, the James Lind Initiative, PLOS and Sense about Science, the campaign calls for every clinical trial—past and present—to be registered and for its methods and full results to be reported, including negative findings. AllTrials raises public and professional awareness, mobilises support and encourages governments and regulators to strengthen research standards.
Its petition attracted signatures from more than 95,000 people and 747 organisations worldwide. The campaign highlights how missing or selectively reported results can distort medical evidence, undermine trust, waste resources and leave patients, clinicians and trial volunteers without essential information. It also shares updates on policy changes, including UK requirements for public trial registration, results reporting within a year of completion, and clear summaries offered to participants
