Almaluna Naissance is the independent midwifery practice of Sophie Laféac, serving families in Belgium’s Brabant Wallon region. Its approach combines professional midwifery care with natural health perspectives, offering supportive guidance through the different stages of becoming a parent. Sophie welcomes women, couples and families from the desire to have a child through pregnancy, birth and the postpartum period, with care shaped around each family’s needs and choices.

Before birth, Almaluna offers pregnancy consultations focused on preparing for a calmer experience, understanding personal rhythms and exploring natural solutions. Sophie also draws on training in naturopathy and Chinese medicine to support health and vitality. After birth, she provides postpartum medical follow-up for mothers and babies, alongside practical guidance on breastfeeding, baby care, carrying, sleep, bathing and feeding. Her support is intended to encourage confidence and autonomy, without imposing a particular path.

Consultations are available at home in Brabant Wallon, online or at her cabinet, La Lanterne, in Rixensart. Almaluna’s work is grounded in attentive, compassionate support throughout the transition into family life.
