About AlManakh
AlManakh is a women and youth-led non-profit organization in Kuwait dedicated to climate activism and sustainability advocacy. As the only YOUNGO member under the UNFCCC in Kuwait, we aim to raise awareness about climate change's impact through research, education, and community engagement. With temperatures exceeding 52°C during summer months and facing challenges like rising sea levels and resource depletion, Kuwait is heavily affected by climate change.
Our team, led by founder Mariam AlSaad, includes specialists in environmental health, renewable energy, and marine biology, among others.
