Alma Rubia is a Golden Retriever breeding kennel in Reggiolo, in the province of Reggio Emilia, Italy, run by Rossella Carra. The story began in 2000, when Rossella welcomed Rudy, a Golden Retriever whose affectionate, gentle and sociable nature inspired her lasting connection with the breed. Alma Rubia is recognised by the Italian National Kennel Club (E.N.C.I.) and the Fédération Cynologique Internationale (F.C.I.).
The brand focuses on Golden Retrievers and shares information about its dogs, litters and the families who welcome them. Its website also features news from dog shows and local events, offering visitors a view of the kennel’s activities and community involvement. Alongside breeding, Alma Rubia provides boarding services and operates a dog education centre, giving owners access to support beyond choosing a puppy. These services reflect the organisation’s broad focus on dogs and their relationships with people. Based in Reggiolo, Alma Rubia welcomes enquiries by email or phone about its Golden Retrievers, available services and other information.
