ALMOM

ALMOM, the Asociación Leonesa de Cáncer de Mama, is a breast cancer support association based in León, Spain. Founded in 2003 by women who had experienced the disease, it was created to support and advise women and men who are living with, or have previously experienced, breast cancer. Today, the association has more than 200 members who participate in and contribute to its activities.

ALMOM provides a point of contact for people seeking information or support, with services focused on its social-support work. Its website shares information about the association, its services and governing board, as well as updates on events and activities, photographs, videos and press coverage. The association also promotes the Carrera de la Mujer and publishes transparency documentation and information about the tax advantages of donations.

People can contact ALMOM by phone or email, visit its office in León, become members or support its work through a bank transfer. In 2025, ALMOM received the Leonoticias Social Award.
