Almond Hearing

Almond Hearing is an independent hearing care brand providing specialist hearing, balance and tinnitus services across Scotland. Its audiologists work from five clinics in Livingston, Clarkston, Broughty Ferry, Dumfries and Edinburgh, bringing experience from NHS hospital departments, tinnitus clinics, vestibular research, paediatrics and private practice. The team begins by listening to each person’s concerns, then investigates their needs and explains the findings and available options, leaving decisions in the client’s hands.

Services include diagnostic hearing assessments, earwax removal, hearing technology, noise protection, balance and vestibular testing, tinnitus care, and medicolegal services. Almond Hearing works with hearing technology from major manufacturers, allowing recommendations to be based on individual needs rather than a single product range. The company publishes its prices online and aims to fit devices that suit a person’s hearing and lifestyle.

Clinics use equipment including soundproof booths, ENT-grade microscopes and real ear measurement, with tests conducted to British Society of Audiology standards. Aftercare includes a six-month review after fitting, annual appointments and ongoing support for adjustments and device maintenance.
