Aloha Veterinary Acupuncture is a mobile veterinary acupuncture practice serving Louisville, Kentucky. Owned and operated by Dr. Teresa Kho-Pelfrey, a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine and Certified Veterinary Medical Acupuncturist, the practice focuses on compassionate, individualized care for animals. Its services are delivered through home visits, allowing Dr. Kho to meet pets and their clients where they are.
Care begins with a one-hour initial consultation for new patients. During the visit, Dr. Kho discusses the pet’s current concerns and pre-existing conditions with the client, then works with them to develop a veterinary acupuncture treatment plan. The first treatment is included in this appointment. Established patients can book 30-minute ongoing treatment visits, with their number and frequency guided by the plan agreed upon with Dr. Kho.
Aloha Veterinary Acupuncture also provides information and practical resources to support clients, including frequently asked questions, articles about veterinary acupuncture, and patient forms that can be signed electronically and emailed.
