Hensting Alpacas is a family-run alpaca farm in Itchen Valley Country Park, Hampshire, offering guided animal experiences for families, friends, couples and other visitors. Its signature activity is an approximately two-hour alpaca walk through the park’s woodlands and water meadows. Guests meet their alpaca, learn about its behaviour and handling, then walk scenic trails with feeding stops and opportunities to spend time close to the herd.

The farm also offers baby alpaca walks, calmer wellbeing walks, llama keeper experiences, gift vouchers and season passes. Walks welcome visitors of all ages, with specific supervision and carrying requirements for children and infants; advance booking is essential. Hensting Alpacas also offers alpacas for sale, including registered animals and breeding stock, and provides adoption opportunities and an alpaca shop.

The farm says animal welfare is a priority and that its alpacas are registered with the British Alpaca Society. Set within a country park with accessible surfaced paths, the experience combines animal encounters, outdoor exploration and an introduction to alpaca care
