Alpaca World Friesland is a family-run alpaca farm in Workum, near the IJsselmeer, operated by Doede and Veronique Hofman. Founded from their enthusiasm and affection for alpacas, the farm welcomes individuals, families and groups to meet its gentle, curious animals and enjoy a relaxing visit. Guests can choose from short or longer experiences, including alpaca walks, feeding and meeting the animals, photoshoots, workshops and children’s parties.
The farm also offers group and business outings, as well as food options such as a snack platter or bread board. Visitors can enjoy views of the alpacas from the farm and its outdoor terrace, and there is an alpaca shop on site. Activities generally require advance booking, and workshops are available by appointment or on scheduled dates.
From November, visits are by appointment; opening hours and availability can vary, so visitors are advised to check or call ahead. Children aged 12 and under must be accompanied by a paying adult. Alpaca World Friesland is located on Slinkewei in Workum
