Die Alpaka-Hirtin is an alpaca farm and shop based at Bobachshof near Ingelfingen in Baden-Württemberg, Germany. Run by Matthias and Carolin Wied, the farm has kept alpacas since 2016 and opened its farm shop in 2017. The business invites visitors to enjoy the animals and the surrounding countryside through guided alpaca walks, farm tours, and individually arranged experiences for families, friends, companies, and groups. It also offers activities for children’s birthdays, kindergartens, and school classes.
The farm shop features products made from the alpacas’ wool alongside other selected goods. Its range includes yarn, knitwear, blankets, cushions, socks, insoles, gloves, hats, scarves, and wool-care and alpaca cosmetics products. Visitors can also find felt alpacas, finger puppets, plush toys, and music boxes, as well as alpaca manure, gift boxes, and vouchers. The shop is open by appointment from Monday to Saturday. With animal encounters, outdoor activities, and distinctive gifts, Die Alpaka-Hirtin offers visitors a welcoming way to discover alpacas and products associated with their soft wool.
