Alpakafarm Berndorf is a small alpaca farm in Twistetal, Germany, owned by Marc Wäscher and supported by a team that helps care for the animals and host visitor experiences. The farm welcomed its first three alpacas in 2021 and has since grown its herd to 11. It offers guided alpaca walks for people looking to spend time outdoors and enjoy a relaxed encounter with the animals. During a walk, visitors can learn about alpacas, feed them by hand, and take photographs. Each experience includes a small picnic and lasts approximately 90 to 120 minutes. Gift vouchers are available, and individual dates can be arranged for groups with at least five animals.
The farm also sells practical and locally themed alpaca products. These include shoe insoles in children’s and adult sizes, natural soaps in several fragrances, and fertiliser pellets made from alpaca and sheep fibres. Alpakafarm Berndorf shares updates through its social media channels and welcomes enquiries about walks, products, and visits by phone or email.
