Alpakaschur

Regina Kuttig’s alpaca shearing service is based in Brand-Erbisdorf, Saxony, and draws on her experience as a trained shepherdess and animal shearer since 2004. Working with her husband, Jens Kuttig, she developed a dedicated shearing table for alpacas and llamas. The service includes alpaca shearing with the table and toe care, with information on llama, sheep and horse shearing also available through the website. Regina has travelled to serve animal owners across Saxony and surrounding regions, including Brandenburg, Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, Saxony-Anhalt, Thuringia, Lower Saxony and Franconia.

The website shares practical shearing information, contact details, news and experiences with alpacas, alongside content about the family’s animals and alpaca walks in Saxony. It also provides an updated directory of other shearers who may be able to take appointments in 2026 or accept bookings for the following year. This directory is offered following the unexpected death of colleague Jens Roscher; availability and arrangements should be confirmed directly with each listed shearer.
