About ALPAS
The Air Line Pilots Association of Singapore, or ALPA-S, is a professional association and registered trade union representing pilots based in Singapore. As a part of the International Federation of Air Line Pilots' Associations (IFALPA), ALPA-S works to ensure the welfare and interests of its members, who benefit from a range of services and support. One of ALPA-S's key focuses is on improving flight safety and enhancing operational efficiency.
Their Technical Committee addresses technical aspects that impact pilots' daily operations and collaborates with aviation partners, such as Air Traffic Controllers and Meteorological Services, to develop best practices for aviation safety. In addition, ALPA-S's Industrial Team strives for fair working conditions, job scope, and remuneration for its members. They negotiate with companies within the framework of industrial relations to achieve sustainable packages.
ALPA-S also has a rich history, dating back to its formation in May 1981. Through the years, the association has remained dedicated to advancing the interests and welfare of its members. The association extends its support beyond the flight deck through its Pilots Advisory Group (PAG), which provides assistance in personal, domestic, medical, or professional matters.
ALPA-S is also actively involved in charity projects focused on children and the elderly, welcoming member participation and donations. For more information or to get involved with ALPA-S, you can contact them via email or visit their website
