Alpenu is a privately run chalet retreat in Balderschwang, in the Allgäu Alps, at an altitude of 1,044 metres. Hosted by Helena and Stefan Nußbaumer, it offers three individually bookable accommodations for couples, families and friends, with space for up to eight adults and four children when the property is reserved exclusively. The Hütte features family-friendly rooms, a wood-burning fireplace and a terrace, while Hektors and Hugos are two-person chalets with kitchens, natural-stone bathrooms and mountain-facing outdoor spaces.

Guests can enjoy private alpine wellness facilities, including a Finnish panoramic sauna, a seasonal wood-lined natural pool filled with local spring water, a wood-fired hot tub, infrared loungers and a massage chair. The experience also includes regional food in the Alpenu-Speis, with optional butler service, plus linens, towels, robes, Wi-Fi, parking and other practical amenities. Set among forests, meadows and peaks, Alpenu provides a personal base for hiking, cycling, skiing, cross-country skiing and seasonal excursions. The chalets can be booked separately or together for an exclusive private stay.
