Alpenverein Friedberg

The Deutscher Alpenverein, Sektion Friedberg e. V., is the Friedberg section of Germany’s Alpine Club. Its website welcomes members and visitors and provides information about the association, its history, leadership, membership, and upcoming activities.

The section organizes a varied program throughout the year, including summer and winter activities, talks, and other events. Its community includes an alpine group, a youth group, a young adults’ group, and a hiking and senior group, as well as four family groups: Steinadler, Die Gämsen, Murmeltiere, and Die Alpensalamander. For members and visitors seeking mountain accommodation, the section lists the Friedberger Haus in Tirol and the Willi-Merkl-Hütte.

Additional offerings include access to a club vehicle, equipment rental, and information about insurance for members. The site also shares practical details about the office, contacts, and event calendar, with notices such as ski gymnastics, bookings for the association’s houses, and a ski equipment bazaar. The section brings together people interested in alpine activities, outdoor recreation, and shared club events
