Alpha Buddy Dog Training

Alpha Buddy Dog Training is a South Florida dog-training business serving Fort Lauderdale and surrounding communities. Led by certified trainer and behaviorist Laz Trista, the company has more than a decade of local service and reports over 20 years of training experience. Its approach centers on positive reinforcement, using rewards rather than shock collars, prong collars, force, or intimidation. Each program begins with an in-person evaluation of the dog’s age, temperament, skills, and needs, allowing training to be tailored rather than based on a fixed curriculum.

Services include puppy training and potty training, basic obedience courses, advanced obedience, off-leash instruction, individual lessons, and introductory evaluations. Alpha Buddy also offers behavior modification for challenges such as aggression, anxiety, separation distress, barking, and destructive behavior. Longer-term options include kennel boarding and training, with dogs staying for two to eight weeks, as well as service-dog and personal-protection training. The business serves clients across numerous South Florida locations, including Boca Raton, Coral Springs, Davie, Pembroke Pines, and Fort Lauderdale.
