Alps OT

Alps Occupational Therapy provides paediatric occupational therapy in Queenstown, helping children develop skills and participate as fully as possible in everyday life. Led by Judith, a paediatric occupational therapist, the practice works in partnership with children, their families and relevant support networks, including teachers and other health professionals. Sessions can take place at home, school or in other environments that are important to the child and family.

Services begin with a visit to discuss a child’s needs and may include observation, assessment and reporting. Support is tailored to each child and can focus on sensory and motor development, coordination, fine motor skills, handwriting, eye tracking and self-care tasks such as eating, dressing, washing and toileting. The aim is to help children build independence and strengthen the skills they use in play, learning and daily activities. Judith’s approach is described by families as professional, patient and encouraging, with activities designed to engage children while supporting their progress.
